Let the air free flows with open wide windows

Tropical house is wise choice for energy saving. A lots of open space will give you a natural light from the sun at day. It means you need less electric energy for lighting the rooms in your tropical house, save energy. A lots of open space will give you a better air circulation as well. It means you will turn on the air conditioning less, which is saving energy too.
Open wide windows is one of the way to optimalize open space and help you to save energy.
A window is your access to the outside. Window is a source of fresh air; a simple way of changing the temperature, when the room gets too hot or too cold. Window is a place to hang out and smell the air and trees and flowers and the weather; and a hole through which people can talk to each other.

What is kind of window?

Double-hung windows, unfully opened - only half of the window area can ever be opened at once. And double-hung windows oftens get stuck - sometimes because they have been painted, or their concealed operating system of cords, counter-weights, and pulleys gets broken. Double-hung windows becomes such an effort to open them that no one bothers.

Sliding windows have much the same problem - only part of the window area can be open, since one panel goes behind another; and they often get stuck too.

The side hung casement is easy to open and close. Gives the greatest range of openings, and creates the greatest degree of control over air and temperature. It makes an opening which is large enough to put your head and shoulders through.

The old time French windows are a stunning example. Narrow, full length upstairs windows, which swing out onto a tiny balcony, large enough to contain the open windows. They put you close to the outside - yet in a perfectly urban sense, as much in Paris or Madrid as in the open countryside.
